SGO Index explains the federal scholarship tax credit and lists organizations that take part in it. Nothing here is tax, legal or financial advice. Before you give or apply, check the details with the SGO, and ask a tax professional about your own situation.

How accurate the listings are

Listings come from official state lists, IRS records, NCES school data and the organizations themselves. Each fact shows its source and when it was last checked, but it can still be out of date or wrong. If you find a mistake, report a problem.

Being listed is not an endorsement or accreditation. How we choose and order listings is on our Methodology page.

Donations, applications and other sites

We don't take donations or scholarship applications. Apply and Donate links go to the SGO's own website, and what happens there is between you and the SGO. We aren't responsible for other websites.

If you manage an SGO or school page

• Only claim a page you are authorized to manage. We review every claim.
• Keep what you publish accurate and current.
• Facts that come from official sources, such as an SGO's EIN, legal name and state lists, can't be edited.
• We may correct or remove content that is inaccurate or breaks these terms, and remove access for anyone who misuses it.

Using the site fairly

Don't try to break the site, overload it, get around its limits, or send false reports or claims.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The site is provided as is, without any guarantee that it is complete, correct or always available.
